Odense Zoo (written by Arttu)
.
On Thursday afternoon we went to the
Odense zoo. Some of us rode a bike there and some of us walked. The Danish
students didn’t come with us because I think they had been there quite many
times. When we got there, the Finnish and Estonian students split into groups
by themselves and the teachers went in their own group. We ran to the first
animal which was a tiger. I personally think it was the best animal we saw
because there were many different places we could see it or take photos of it.

Some fish in the green water |
In the zoo there were many different animals like
tigers, monkeys, turtles, a firefox, penguins and many others. As I said, first
we went to see the tiger and after that there were some elks. Then we saw some
makis and they were all in a little bunch. Then we saw these humongous turtles
and after that some giraffes. Then there were zeebras, alpacas, camels and
other animals like that. Then there were Shetland ponies which are these little
horses, and there was also a petting zoo next to it. Then there was the second
best thing which was the aquarium. In the aquarium there were some manatees,
catfish, these weird long, flat and long fish and lots of other animals/fish.
The last thing we saw was a penguin place which was really cool and it was
really cold there

Trip to Odense Zoo (made by Selma-Sofia)
Trip to
Odense Zoo
We left the school on Thursday afternoon. Some of us biked some of us walked. The Danes took us and the Estonians to the Zoo. The Danes didn’t come to the Zoo.
When we got in we ran straight to the tigers’ cage. We hoped we could see
some kittens but there were not any little tigers. The cage was really cool we
could go up on it at two sides and then there was a cave where we could go in.
We got some really awesome photos and left those beautiful cats.
We had a lot of fun with plenty of turtles, monkeys,
giraffes, zebras,
pigs, chickens, lamas and ponys.
There was this superfun swinging thing and we had much of fun. Just saying
the rope wasn’t soft p.s my head.
After having a great headache we went
to the aquarium it was super duper cool. There were much of scary and beautiful
fishes. Most of them had big scary teeth. Then there were big white fat balls
oh well not exactly it’s just what they looked like.
We had a wonderful trip to the Odense
Zoo. JJJJJJJJ
Diary of the trip to Odense (made by the Finnish students)
We came to the school in
the morning. Then a bus took us to the airport. We flew to Copenhagen and
waited there for the Estonians. When they came, we took the train to Odense.
The host families picked us up from the station. In the evening we spent time
with the host families.
Tuesday 28.10.
We went on a tour around
the school. Then we were divided into groups, and in those groups, we started a
Foodwaste - project. It was a video about wasting food. Then we had activities
in the gym. After that we went home with the families. Some of us went to a
restaurant or to the cinema.
Wednesday 29.10.
In the morning we
learned how to say some easy sentences in Estonian and Danish. We also taught
them some Finnish. Then we continued doing the Foodwaste - project. After the
lunch we went to a H.C. Andersen tour. It was interesting. We saw his childhood
home and some other places he had been to. In the evening the host families
organized activities like going to a restaurant.
Thursday 30.10.
In the morning we had
another language lesson. Then we finished the Foodwaste - projects. Then we
went to the zoo for 3 hours. Later we had an international evening. The Finns
and Estonians had brought some traditional food like rye crisps and chocolate. We
watched the videos and we got diplomas for participating the project.
Friday 31.10.
We left our host
families. The Estonians took an earlier train to Copenhagen. The Finns stayed
in Odense for a few hours. We went shopping in Odense city. Then we took the
train to the airport in Copenhagen and flew back to Helsinki.
